We're Moving!!!
Jon has been promoted and we are moving next Saturday! The blog may not be updated for a bit, because we have a LOT to do.
I will post pictures of the new place when I can!
Happy Fifth Birthday Joshua Paul!
pictures from the happy gathering, though there are actually only a couple with Josh in them--he was too busy running around playing with all his cousins to take pictures! The pictures I got were of the slower-moving party-goers, like babies and adults, LOL!
Cute Tans!
Look at those heartbreaker eyes!
I just couldn't help it--he's too cute not to take lots of pictures!
Three girlies
Where did it go?
Let's Disco!
Peaceful Sleep - SOOO GORGEOUS!!!
And again closer, just because she's so adorable!
This is actually one of my favorites--it's Livi, who happened to jump just as I took the picture.
Uh, can someone get this baby off me???
These three had a great time--Norah loves her T! (that's what she calls Tanya, even when she recognized her in this picture!)
Watching Josh open his presents...
Funny faces
Steve and Tara
Hair caught in the slinky...what to do?
Contemplating the birthday cake
Trying to get the gang together for a picture!
Getting closer...
Gathered a few more...
Aha! There they all are, and you can even see all the eyes!
Just a cute closeup I cut out of a group photo.
Montana-Mania!
Me!
Auntie Jess
It only cost us $6 (three per kid) to get our car washed. That was a deal, considering all the bugs on it from the 1000+ miles we had driven at that point! Thanks!!
Auntie Jess and Livi (or at least the top of her head, lol)
More Auntie Jess--she's just so photogenic!
Just a cute shot of three grinning people. Shot by Susan, if I'm not mistaken!
Norah is a hard sell, and didn't want Grandpa to touch her. He was rubbing her foot, but once she realized it was him... ![]()
And now for the artsy shots--you know I can't resist!!!
And these I took on the Fourth of July at sunset. I can do great shots of babies, kids, and people in general. Not so great with the landscape/sky shots. Hmmm...
In our paper a few days ago there was an editorial cartoon, where the dad was grilling hamburgers and a little boy stood at his feet reading a history book. The boy says to the dad,
"Hey Dad, did you know that "Independence Day" happens to land right on the 4th of July holiday?! I mean, what are the odds of that?!"
Happy Independence Day!
We are in Bismarck for the night at a hotel with a great water play area. Olivia must have gone down the kiddie slide a hundred times. No kidding. When we came back in the room and got our pj's on, Olivia said, "Thank you for playing the water with me!" She is such a sweetheart.
We are all tuckered out from driving and playing in the water. Just wanted to post a quick note to say hello!! ![]()
We are in Montana! Here are some pictures from our visit. Please leave me a comment if you can see the site--I've had some people telling me they are having problems loading it lately. I haven't had a problem, but several others have, so please let me know! ![]()
My First Ponytail!
Jess took this one--not my fault, LOL!

Everone else is having fun, but not Norah...
Here we go!
Princess in a parade
DISCLAIMER(This is Jon writing) So, I've been working a lot lately and Chelsea just hasn't had time to sit down and post pictures---which we all love to see. So kept the girls while Chelsea went to a friends house, so she doesn't know that I am posting. Chelsea deserves a day off! There are a lot of picture coming up spanning the month of May. I even took a couple of them(I have lost my fear of breaking my wife's camera again) Enjoy(this is for you , Jess)!
This is the oldest of the pictures from a trip to the zoo around the first of May
:
Next is a group of artistic photos....I think Chelsea does a very good job taking pictures:
Then it starting raining, so we got out Livi's new umbrella:
Norah didn't have an umbrella...exit stage.
Then we had a really hot day:
And now my attempt at photographic art from this morning(in their new dresses I picked out):
Have a good day! -Jon
Sorry, it's been a week. We've been busy!
The girls and I went to Zimmerman today for a parade and carnival. Jon came from work and watched the parade with us. Norah loved it--clapped, danced, waved. Olivia was terrified of the loud noises--police cars, fire trucks (a LOT of fire trucks), motorcycles, loud music. I was surprised that there were only two bands--well, three, I guess technically. One marching band, one sixth grade band being pulled on a trailer, and one young rock band that consisted of two drum sets, a base player and a guitar player, also being pulled on a trailer.
We did score LOTS of candy! It took awhile for Livi to figure out the drill, but by the end she was running to get the candy with the best of them! Okay, maybe not the best of them, but she at least noticed when they threw it and would go pick it up if it was within two feet of one of her parents. Any further required hand-holding. ![]()
Next we went to the carnival. We spent enormous amounts of money on ridiculously small amounts of food, rides, and games, but we had fun.
And, a first for me in over two and a half years now...
I forgot to put sunscreen or hats on anyone.
It was cloudy, cool, and windy, but we all came away with pink cheeks, foreheads, and noses. Not bad, but we definitely have some color! It's the first my girls have EVER had. I vow to do better from this point on. Bad mama!!
